to Use This Site
Product Information
Gawine.com provides up-to-date information about Savannah
Distributing products available through retailers in the state
of Georgia.
Information includes a complete listing of available brands.
Links to available promotional materials, related web sites,
and currently featured products.
Dynamic and Current
Information on Gawine.com is extracted from a regularly updated
database, allowing the site to be kept current. Each time
you view a page it is specially created just for you from
the latest information.
Easy to Use
The site’s first or “home” page displays links to featured
products. The first page most importantly features a choice
between product listings for Atlanta
and Savannah
(circled in blue). These listings are
the heart of the site. By default the list offers a choice
between a list of products available in either the Savannah
or Atlanta areas.
Clicking on the image of featured products in the center of
the page takes you to a list of all featured products. Individual
product listings can be accessed from the left hand list.
Note: the Monopolova Vodka image at the top right of the page
is also a link to Monopolova Vokda as a featured product.
Navigation and Focus
The top navigation bar allows the user to switch back and
forth between these two listing. Additionally, links are available
to switch between lists of shelf talkers and featured products
as well as back to the product listing. Links on the left
of the page show product categories. Clicking on one of these
links narrows the number of products displayed to the selected
category. For example, clicking on California Wines would
create a new, shorter list containing only California wines
available in whichever category, Savannah, or Statewide, currently
selected for the category menu. The screenshot below shows
the main components of the product listing interface.

The Information
The main listing is divided into categories such as “Scotch
Whisky,” “Imported Gin,” or “California Wines.” Products are
listed under these category listings or each category may
be viewed separately (see above). Each product available in
the category is listed alphabetically under the heading. In
addition to the name of the product, a link to the product
supplier's web site and a link to an online shelf talker may
also be provided.
Legend
If a web site for the product is available a "W"
is displayed to the right of the product name. If there is
a shelf talker online for the product a "T" is displayed.
If the product is currently featured an "F" is displayed.
A product listing may show all or none of these key characters.

Top Navigation Bar
From left to right: Clicking on "Atlanta"
opens the full Atlanta and statewide listing. If you are already
in that listing in a category it will return you to the full
listing. Clicking on "Savannah" opens the
full Savannah and coastal Georgia listing. If you are already
in that listing in a category it will return you to the full
listing. Clicking on "Shelf Talkers" opens
the list of shelf talkers available for printing. All talkers
are listed for products available in both Savannah and Atlanta.
Featured Products takes you to a list of products currently
featured by Savannah Distributing with links to additional
pages about specific products and product lines.
Web Sites
The "W" character is a hyperlink to a website associated
with the product. In most cases the link goes to a site maintained
by the manufacturer or importer although in some instances
a third-party descriptive site may be referenced. You will
need to use your browser's return button to get back to the
Savannah Distributing site should you choose to visit any
of these additional online resources.
Talkers
The "T" character is a hyperlink to a page for
viewing shelf talkers available online from Savannah Distributing.
A listing of shelf talkers for printing can be accessed by
clicking on a link on this page or by using the "Shelf
Talkers" link in the top navigation bar on all listing
pages. Talkers may also be viewed by clicking on the "T"
in the main product listing.

Featured
The "F" character is a hyperlink to a special featured
product page for the line of products. No products are marked
as featured in the current listing at this time. To view featured
products use this link, features.
Selecting Talkers
Shelf talkers are designed to be printed out four to a page.
To print talkers you must first go to the talker listing by
clicking on the "Shelf Talker" link from the top
navigation or from any of the individual viewer pages. From
the talker listing you may select as many talkers as you want
to print by clicking on the check box beside the product name.
Once you have selected products click the "Print"
button at the bottom of the page.

Talker Selection Hint
When selecting talkers for printing it may help to open a
new browser window for the shelf talker selection list while
leaving the product list open in the original window. To open
a new browser window go to the menu at the top of the browser
and select "New" then "Browser Window." Then click on the
shelf talker link on the web page's top navigation bar. This
will open the talker list. Then if you decide you would like
to preview a talker before selecting it you can check it out
if the product listing window by clicking on the "T" and going
to the talker viewing page. This will not reset any selections
you have already made. If you were to try to view talkers
by going to the main list from the talker listing any print
choices you already made could be lost.

Printing Talkers
When the "Print" button at the very bottom of the
talker list is clicked a web page displaying all the talkers
you have selected will appear. Check to make sure you have
selected all of the talkers you want to print. To add or delete
talkers from this page simply use the browser's back button
to return to the listing and either check or uncheck the desired
boxes and click "Print" again. To print the page
just use the browser's print function and the selected talkers
will print four to a page. For best results use a color inkjet
printer or color laser printer.

Set Print Margins
For talkers to print properly you must set the printer's
margins in "Page Setup" under the "File"
menu. Set the margins to 0.25 inches all around. The four
talkers on each page will then be centered on the page with
equal margin all around.
